Much of my recent research examines the socioeconomic dynamics of wildfire, and includes publications on migration and planned relocation in response to wildfire, post-fire neighborhood change, and the prevalence of urban wildfires. My work has been funded by multiple NSF programs, NASA, and Canada’s Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council. I completed my PhD at Yale School of the Environment (2022), where my dissertation examined wildfire-related displacement and migration.
